Meadowlark Botanical Gardens

Meadowlark Botanical Gardens in Vienna Virginia features three distinct native plant collections. The largest of these is the Potomac Valley Collection, which is based on biogeography and floristic composition within the Potomac River basin. Additional collections are the Native Tree Collection and the Virginia Native Wetland Collection. Opened in 1992, the Meadowlark Visitor Center is a significant architectural landmark in Northern Virginia. It contains several aquaria exhibits and an interactive exhibit space focusing on plant diversity, and interactive exhibits feature rotating topics on various garden collections.
