Roer's Zoofari

 
Formerly Reston Zoo, Roer’s Zoofari’s 30-acre park features a variety of animals for your group to encounter. Take a guided safari tour for close encounters with majestic bison, water buffalo and watusi cattle, friendly deer and llamas, as well as North African Aoudad. See zebra, antelope, emu and rheas as well. Visit our barnyard to feed and pet miniature zebu, sheep and goats. Small groups can purchase parakeet feed sticks and interact with the colorful birds in the aviary. Field trip options can include add-ons such as a giraffe feeding encounter, slap bracelet souvenirs, and snow cones. Groups must have at least 15 people and field trips must be booked in advance to receive discounted group rates.

Additional charges for Safari Tours, Animal Encounters and Feeding Opportunities. A rate of $10 per students will cover: Private Safari Tour, Admission to the zoo, One bucket of petting zoo feed per 10 students. Chaperones are $12 each.
