The Imperial Centre for the Arts & Sciences

The Imperial Centre for the Arts & Sciences, located in downtown Rocky Mount, is one of the premier cultural facilities on the eastern seaboard, and visiting students and scouts will have no shortage of things to do and see! Visits can start with a show in the Planetarium, where they might view “The Cowboy Astronomer,” “Sea Monsters- A Prehistoric Adventure,” and more! Learners can explore through the Children’s Museum exhibits where they might harvest vegetables and sell them at the Farmer’s Market, or don a costume and put on a show for their peers. Don’t forget to check out the art museum- including 2 hands-on exhibits just for young learners.
