Green Spring Gardens

Spend a day learning about plants and wildlife at Green Spring Gardens. Groups can take a tour through the wooded stream valley to see over 20 thematic demonstration gardens which feature ponds, naturalistic native plants, a greenhouse, and more. Groups can also see the changing art exhibits at Historic Green Spring, built in 1784, open from noon to 4:30PM from Wednesday to Sunday. Educational programs at Green Spring Gardens allow groups to participate in interactive learning activities such as leaf sorting, exploring trees on a woodland trail hike, and using the Enviroscape watershed model to learn about the water cycle.
