Henderson County Heritage Museum

Take your group to the restored Historic Henderson County Courthouse, now known as the Henderson County Heritage Museum. Groups will find artifacts, archives, and view exhibits that tell the story of Henderson County’s past. Exhibits at the museum touch on the heritage and culture of Henderson County through multimedia such as recordings with soldiers, sailors, and airmen who experienced World War II, the Korean War, the Vietnam War, and Desert Storm. Groups will enjoy the artifacts from the Civil War in the Perry Rudnick Foundation Room and the diorama of the Saluda Grade, which is the steepest mainline standard-gauge railway in the U.S.
