Wilkes Heritage Museum

Located in what used to be the 1902 Wilkes County Courthouse, Wilkes Heritage Museum is sure to give your group a historic cultural experience they will never forget. Exhibits at the museum focus on a variety of subjects including art, history, music, business, and industry. Groups can tour the museum's two floors where they will find exhibits dedicated to telling the stories of early settlers, African-Americans and Native Americans, the Revolutionary War, and much more. Groups will also enjoy the walking tour where they will see historic buildings such as the Federal Building, J.T. Ferguson Store, and the Robert Cleveland House.
