Cape Fear Botanical Garden

This garden is an ideal outdoor classroom for learning about flowers, planting, seeds and sprouts, soil, insects, and much more. Cape Fear Botanical Garden features nature trails, a natural amphitheater, ravines, ponds, aquatic plants and birds, and much more. Students and scouts will enjoy hands-on programs as they get a chance to meet reptiles, plant something to take home, dig through a pond in search of tadpoles and fish, and much more. The garden also offers walking tours, where groups can learn about habitats, ecology, and plants in the garden. Tours can be combined with a hands-on program.
