Cape Fear Museum

Unique exhibits at this museum collect and interpret the history, science, and cultures of Lower Cape Fear. Some past exhibits have focused on music, communication technology, nautical history, and space travel. Students can learn about the museum with the help of hands-on exhibits and activities. Journey back in time to learn about fossils; experiment with magnets, electricity, and circuits; see a show in the planetarium; or solve problems with simple machines. Groups may also take a guided or self-guided tour of the museum’s exhibits. Outreach programs available. Homeschool groups of 10 or more may book any school program.
