The Lyman Spitzer, Jr. Planetarium

The planetarium offers daily presentations with seating available for groups of 45 or less. Students between 3 and 8 years can see My Sky, an introduction to the stars and planets, while students over 6 years, can Tour the CosmosNight Sky is a 30-minute tour of stars, planets, and constellations that are currently visible. Photographs in the Vinton Space Science Gallery will take students on an imaginary journey through our universe and beyond. The gallery also holds the largest meteorite to have crashed to Earth. The 17.3-pound iron and nickel meteorite landed approximately 4,000-5,000 years ago in Argentina.
