America's Grow-a-Row

America’s Grow-a-Row strives to bring fresh produce to “food deserts” where affordable fruits and vegetables are not widely available. All produce grown by Grow-a-Row is donated to the Food Bank and Free Farm Markets. Groups are needed to help weed and pick produce, such as peppers, corn, apples, and squash. Children can learn about agriculture and the importance of providing fresh produce to those in need. School groups may stay for an additional workshop to help understand their positive impact on the hunger crisis. Volunteers should dress for the weather and dirt.
