Battle of Hanover Wayside Markers

Visit the place encountered by General Robert Lee which caused his failed victory at Gettysburg. The self-guided walking tour features eighteen waysides located along Frederick Street and Broadway, which mark the locations invaded by Confederate soldiers in Pennsylvania and where General George Custer stopped their advance. A brochure is available at the Hanover Area Chamber of Commerce for use during the self-guided tour. On-site activities include biking, boating, canoeing, fishing and golfing.
