Chinese Historical Society of New England

The Chinese Historical Society of New England (CHSNE) offers student, scout, and youth groups a Historic Chinatown Walking Tour. The tour is designed to visit sites that have significance in the founding and development of Chinatown in downtown Boston. Guides provide information on the early settlers, the growth of the community, and the impact of public policies on the community. The tour focuses on Chinatown prior to 1965. Special tours can be arranged for groups that want specific topics covered, such as the community's growth since 1965. Tours are 90 minutes long and are available for groups of 10 or more.
