Captain Planet Foundation

Do you have an environmental project for your students that requires funding for travel costs or venue admission? The Captain Planet Foundation can help! It offers small grants ranging between $500-$2,500 for U.S.-based schools with an operating budget of less than $3 million that are working on a project-based activity performed by youth that has real, environmentally-beneficial outcomes. Grants are intended to provide hands-on environmental stewardship opportunities for youth, serve as a catalyst for getting environmental-based education in schools, and inspire youth to participate in community service through environmental stewardship activities. If travel costs or field trips are an essential part of your project, include the costs under the "project activities" part of the application.
