miSci – Museum of Innovation & Science

Discover hands-on science at miSci! Explore interactive exhibits, immersive full-dome planetarium shows, and Challenger Learning Center space missions. From nanotechnology to astronomy, miSci supports science education at all levels with exciting hands-on exhibits, demos, planetarium shows, guided tours, and standards-based STEM programming. See an indoor butterfly house from February to April, a holiday model Train display, and other dynamic exhibits throughout the year.

Students will become immersed in STEM learning activities on field trips to miSci. Educator-led programs include planetarium shows, hands-on science explorations, interactive science demonstrations, and simulated space missions.  Students explore science through inquiry-based, interactive lessons that illustrate basic scientific principles of nanotechnology, physics, energy science, electricity, and astronomy in a fun and engaging way. miSci’s immersive learning setting also promotes students’ development of communication, problem-solving, critical thinking and teamwork skills.
