Located 10 minutes west of Kennedy Airport, and 10 minutes east of the Verrazano Bridge, Jamaica Bay Riding Academy’s equestrian facility has served the east coast since 1972. Jamaica Bay offers horseback riding lessons, therapeutic riding, and more. Amenities include an outdoor arena, heated and air conditioned lounge, food court, intermediate cross country course, 500 acres of beaches and trails, and more. Activities include hand-held pony rides, nature walks, horse care introduction and trail rides on the preserve. Ample parking is available. No outside food allowed.

Jamaica Bay Riding Academy provides a unique experience for students of all ages. Located on 500 acres of beautiful beachfront, students will enjoy the morning within a relaxed, natural environment along with horses and riding. Arrangements for an afternoon lunch could follow up the day in our restaurant overlooking our indoor riding arena.
