Seabrook Educational & Cultural Center

Whether brought together by war, or the spirit of adventure, Seabrook in the mid-20th century was a unique melding of culturally diverse people in rural America: the lives of relocated Japanese Americans, Japanese Peruvians, wartime refugees from Europe, and migrant laborers from Europe came together in the Seabrook Village. While on a tour, groups can see a large-scale model of the village as it was in the 1950's, see artifacts and listen to oral histories, and view collections of photographs: documenting the settlement, the workplace, and community life in the village.
