Aviator Sports and Events Center

 
For over 10 years, Aviator Sports and Events Center has been a top destination for field trips, group outings, and more. Located in Floyd Bennett Field, Aviator is New York’s largest sports and events center with over 175,000 square feet of indoor sports and event space along with adjoining outdoor turf fields and FREE parking for 2,000 cars. Aviator provides a wide variety of sports leagues and activities, including camps, birthday parties, field trips, ice skating, hockey, gymnastics, basketball, volleyball, soccer, sports performance training, and more. A concessionaire of the National Parks Service, Aviator has refurbished four historic aircraft hangars and surrounding grounds in partnership with the NPS. It’s a one of a kind way to spend the day!

Students can enjoy field trips, field days, end-of-school-year celebrations, and more at Aviator Sports and Events Center. For graduation events, the center can provide indoor setting for up to 2,500 people, an outdoor tented area for 750 people, a stage, chairs, and catering services. Senior trips allow students to enjoy a 6-hour trip that includes activities such as climbing the rock wall, team building, ice skating, and more with an ice cream bar and DJ. Field days are customizable, include lunch, and can consist of basketball, kickball, and other sports activities. Aviator Sports and Events Center is a vendor of New York City Public Schools.
