Jimmy Carter Presidential Library and Museum
The archives is a repository of approximately 27 million pages of Jimmy Carter's White House material, papers of administration associates, including documents, memoranda, correspondence, etc. There are also 1/2 million photographs, and hundreds of hours film, audio and video tape.

National Museum of the American Indian
The National Museum of the American Indian has three permanent exhibits at its Washington, DC site: "Our Universes: Traditional Knowledge Shapes Our World," which explores Native cosmology; "Our Peoples: Giving Voice to Our Histories," which examines the history of Native people since 1491; and "Our Lives: Contemporary Life and Identities," looking at the 21st century status of Native peoples. The museum, part of the Smithsonian, also has temporary exhibits. Groups can arrange for a reserved spot in the timed-entry line, and can also arrange for guided tours.
